Home internet - No connection?

Since there's no one that's answering my msgs on FB, I'm trying to get ANY reply.

Was invited as a beta tester for home internet, however, not able to connect. The downstream light is blinking. I can connect my devices to the wifi, I can connect my computer via Ethernet and I can see the modem, but I cannot for the life of me connect to the internet. I've been sending them FB msgs since Friday and never got a reply concerning my issue.

Also, I don't have any mobile data on my mobile phone.

Anyone can help???

when i got my service the guy got inside to test my cable. was it the same for you?
you probably tried to unscrew and rescrew the cable to the modem?
mine worked as soon as i was plugged but i also was with videotron before.
open a browser and type 192.168.0.1 on a plugged device to access the modem's interface.
user : cusadmin
pswd : your current wifi password
should have some info in there on the status of the connection
you can also do a hard reset from there.

Hey Pascal,

New connection. Never able to connect to the internet.

For your mobile phone, try redoing your apn settings. They got corrupted for some people during Friday's outage.

Sorry, I have no experience with Fizz home internet.

Hey Pascal,

Tried all that you suggested. Accessed the modem as well. Did a hard reset as well. I was not with videotron previously. I don't know which parameters to check, nor how to check to see if there's a connection with the network in the modem interface.

@Timothy H. Sorry to ear that. They certainly need a Report problem button from the web page for things like that. It suddently make me really insecure about their internet service now.

Luckily I have another source of internet. Gotta figure this out ASAP, but no one on FB is replying me, and there's no way to contact them.
