How long does the number porting takes from Fido to fizz?

I can make outgoing calls but not receiving calls right now.
When I activated the Fizz SIM yesterday, I have entered the Fido account number correctly and still not happening right now.

It took mine about one hour to get it fully working. But. had to force my iPhone to reload the carrier settings, since it wasn't doing it on it's own. I had to go to settings->general->about and then I got a pop up informing that the carriers settings had changed.

Hi! Mine took less than 30 minutes. I didn't even had to restart my phone after I inserted the sim card. All features are working perfectly.

Thanks a lot guys for the help. My SMS doesn't work. Every time I make an outgoing call, I can see the phone is indicating "conditional Call Forwarding Active". My understanding is that means the switch is not done yet.

BTW, I have rebooted the phone a few times, then switched to another Galaxy S7. Still same symptom.

I didn't need to reboot my phone (Galaxy S8). It worked instantly (well, I tried after 1 minute to be exact).

Try to write to them on Facebook messenger or chat bubble , make sure your pop up blocker is desactivated. Good luck

Thanks for getting back to me. Yes I have chatted with a customer service and was told that I will get update via email. But not progress yet. And my data doesn't work either. Can Fizz support at least help me to get the data going?

It's been 3 days of no being able to receive any phone calls or text! I have contacted Fido and they told me they didn't see the porting request. But my old Fido sim card stopped working, too. So please help me!

For me it took less than couple of minutes. I thnik it is recommended to use IMEI instead of account number while completing migration process
